Dr. Jerry Woolf graduated from the University of Santa Barbara in 1970 and earned his doctor of dental surgery degree from University of Southern California in 1977. He furthered his education and earned his post-doctorate training in orthodontics in 1991. Dr. Woolf also completed a residency in esthetic dentistry in 2003 at UCLA and is a faculty member there.
Dr. Woolf was been a clinical instructor at UCLA Center for Esthetic Dentistry from 1993 to1998. In 1986, Dr. Woolf was delegated to the California Dental Society and was president of the Kern County Dental Society in 1987. He has also been accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and has been an examiner for the accreditation of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Woolf has been on the board of directors with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and has been instrumental in including universities as members and expanding the benefits offered to members. He is also a current instructor at Esthetic Professionals Post Doctorate Training Center.
Dr. Woolf and his wife, Ginger, have two daughters, Claire and Grace, and they live in Santa Barbara. Dr. Woolf maintains offices in Santa Barbara and Bakersfield. An accomplished pilot, he flies between the two offices.
